SKILLS
I am an animation generalist. I am comfortable working in both 2D and 3D applications. I have worked on projects ranging from Television commercials, feature film, broadcast TV and web. I have 5 years of freelance experience, 3 years of commercial post production, 2 years of owning and running an animation boutique and seven years of overlapping teaching experience. I have experience working independently, supervising a team and in working under team leaders to complete large projects.

WORK EXPERIENCE
Sept ’06 – Aug '09 – Motion Graphics/VFX/3D Animator – Post:Op
I was responsible for all 3D animation and I share in the VFX and motion graphics workload. My clients include Hyundai, HEB, Brighthouse and TXU for agencies such as Ivey and The Richards Group.

I am currently alternating between teaching Maya 1, 2, 3 & 4. I have also taught courses Dreamweaver and After Effects.

’09- current - Adjunct Instructor – Motion Graphics – Art Institute of Dallas
I have recently joined the Art Institute to teach Motion graphics and 3D animation. I am currently teaching an intro level After Effects class.

May ’04 – April ’06 – Animator/Partner – Element X Creative
Co-founder and partner of Element X Creative. My roles included Flash, Motion Graphics, VFX, 3D Modeling and Animation. I was also responsible for assisting in the day to day running of the business, meeting with clients, lawyers, accountants, employees, interviewing, etc. Clients included Hit Entertainment, Mary Kay and Score Entertainment.

June ‘02- May ‘04 – Web Designer/ Builder – Contract Mary Kay (Aquent)
In charge of building and maintaining Mary Kay.com and Mary Kay PWS as well as all multimedia and motion design presentations. I used Dreamweaver, Flash and After Effects and HTML/CSS/.NET/JavaScript and AS1 coding.

March ’02 – Animator – LookFX!, Hollywood, Ca.
Created FX shots for children’s TV show, “Mighty Morphing Power Rangers”

While at Element X Creative, my projects ranged from modeled and animated licensed characters from Hit Entertainment’s (Bob the Builder and Barney) to motion graphics on the Mary Kay Seminars. Other clients included Staubach Properties, Bell Helicopter and Alcon’s trade shows. I also created VFX for small independent movies including Bloodlines and After Sundown.

As a freelancer I created and animated several characters including Mr. Toyota of Dallas, Darcy from the Mary Kay Seminars, and the Jammin’ Wolf from the initial 94.5 The Wolf commercials. I created animations for several products including Nokia Phones and Home Interior Products. I also worked on the prerequisite spinning logos, technical illustrations/animations and various low budget projects.

"Souljas", music video for Master P (a rap artist), modeling and cut scenes.

"The Night of the Headless Horseman" (an hour long primetime special for Fox TV), models, textures, animation, mocap, scene assembly.
